22% of India's finance openings sit in Mumbai, and 32 companies hold all of them.

Our agents read 220+ MNC career pages this month and pulled close to 23,000 openings. 2,067 of them are finance, risk and compliance roles in India. Career pages belonging to one firm are counted once, so EY's and Deloitte's several pages consolidate to the parent brand.

Mumbai holds the finance floor, and a short list of employers holds Mumbai

Mumbai has 21.9% of India's finance openings, which is 453 roles. They come from 32 employers, 14.2 roles each, the deepest per-employer market in the country. Three employers hold 51.7% of the city: Axis Bank with 113, EY with 74 and Deloitte with 47. JP Morgan Chase adds 34 and Morgan Stanley 29. Entry level runs 19.3%, the highest of any big metro, and the average posting asks for 4.9 years.
