Your Myro Score
Your Myro Score is a number from 0 to 100. It reflects the skill evidence in your CV, grouped into public career domains. The page does not recompute your score; it explains the same backend engine used after CV upload and score refresh.
There are no fixed domain weights. A skill only contributes when your CV has evidence for it, and domains with no evidence are not counted against you.

Step-by-step calculation
- Skill evidence — each CV signal maps to a skill level: mention L1, project L2, impact or certification L3, leadership L4. Enough depth evidence can lift a skill to L5.
- Cluster score — related skills are grouped first. The strongest level is divided by 5, then multiplied by a log coverage factor:
level/5 * (0.3 + 0.7 * log1p(user skills in cluster) / log1p(total skills in cluster)). - Domain score — cluster scores in the same domain are averaged by skill count, then a breadth bonus rewards proving several skills in that domain. Result: 0-100 per domain.
- Myro Score — the final score is the mean of domains where your CV has evidence. Job-market demand shapes upgrade suggestions, not the total score itself.
Worked example
Suppose your CV proves 2 skills in a 50-skill cluster and your strongest evidence is L2. The log coverage is 0.2794; the cluster score is 19.8/100. With two evidenced skills in that domain, the breadth bonus lifts the domain score to about 22.1/100.
To improve the score, add clearer evidence to your CV: shipped work, numbers, certification, leadership, and more than one proved skill inside the same area.
How your CV is read
When you upload or describe your CV, Myro scans every line and identifies skills. For each skill it finds, it checks how you have described it. Four base evidence levels are recognised, and repeated depth evidence can lift a skill to L5:
"Proficient in Python"
The skill is named, but no context is given.
"Built a data pipeline in Python"
You describe using the skill in a real situation.
"Reduced pipeline time by 40% using Python"
You show a measurable result, certification, or outside validation.
"Led 4 engineers building Python services"
You directed others using this skill — managed, mentored, architected.
Certifications are also recognised as strong evidence. The strongest evidence type found across your CV sets the skill's base level; enough accumulated depth evidence can raise it one more step on your next upload.
Skill levels
Your Myro Score reflects your documented experience. Practice sessions build a separate layer — your active skill development. Complete 25-minute focused study sessions to advance your level for any skill.
Level 0→Level 11 practice session at this level1 session total
Level 1→Level 23 practice sessions at this level3 sessions total
Level 2→Level 39 practice sessions at this level12 sessions total
Level 3→Level 427 practice sessions at this level36 sessions total
Levels never expire. A partial session still accumulates — every minute counts toward your next threshold. You earn +50 tokens for every completed session.
Job matching
Once your CV is processed, Myro searches its job database for openings that best match your skill profile. Matching happens in three steps:
- Skill tagging — every job in the database is tagged with the skills it requires. Primary skills are core requirements; supporting skills are nice-to-haves.
- Overlap scoring — we count how many of your CV skills match each job's requirements. A higher overlap means a better base match.
- AI ranking — an AI model reviews the top candidates and re-ranks them, considering the quality of your experience, not just keyword count.
Your top matches show a match percentage — this is how much of the job's required skill set your CV covers. A lower percentage highlights skill gaps you can close through practice sessions or by updating your CV.
About the job database
Jobs are scraped weekly from public company career pages. We apply a minimum skill overlap threshold to avoid surfacing irrelevant matches, and a per-company cap prevents any single employer from dominating your results. The database covers 100+ companies and is refreshed weekly.

Scraped weekly from public company career pages. We do not collect applicant data from employers.
Skill taxonomy
Skills are mapped to an industry-standard taxonomy so your CV and job postings are compared on a level playing field. Your raw CV text stays separate.
Your public profile
Only your 10-domain score breakdown and aggregate activity counts are visible on your public share link. Your CV, individual skill list, and email are never exposed.
Any email address works — throwaway, alias, anything. We do not verify identity. Your Myro handle is your public identity, not your name or email.
